In-Kind Donations

Donations can be dropped off every Saturday between 9AM-11:30AM. Please bring them directly to our Drop-In Center.

Our most sought-after items are tents, sleeping bags, jackets, jeans, sweatshirts, socks, underwear, and body wipes. Clean used items are fine. If your school or organization would like to collect Hygiene Kits, socks or underwear, or supplies please let us know. We encourage people to hand deliver donated items to our guests in order to see how your donations are making a difference.

Drop-In Center Address:

The Drop-In Center is located inside the blue house at All Saints Episcopal Church

Financial Donations

If you are able to financially support our work please use the donate button. Financial donations are needed to operate our programs and go toward the costs of daily operations. Last year Recycled Resources for the Homeless spent $28,000 operating our 2016-2017 Drop-In Center and $48,000 operating our Winter Shelter.  Please support our efforts to reduce harm to our neighbors without shelter. At this time Recycled Resources has been unable to secure any Measure H or Measure HHH funds due to the small size of our organization and our small budget. We are working hard to change this and secure funding in order for us to have full time staff who can dedicate themselves to expanding the programs and services we offer.

In addition to program operations your donation could support projects such as move in costs for a person who has secured housing:  safety deposit, first month rent, and household goods.  We also assist our neighbors with obtaining documents such as CA ID and birth certificates as they are needed to establish benefits and secure housing. We offer bus passes, laundry assistance, motel vouchers during inclement weather or poor health, and specialty items a person may need during their journey.

Please support us.

We are a 501 (c) 3 public charity, all donations are tax deductible.
